KA1 - Training Course "Absense of War is not Peace"

PROJECT SUMMARY

The training course “Absense of War is not Peace” is a Erasmus+ Key Action 1 - Learning Mobility of Individuals co-financed by the Erasmus + Programme, that will take place in Setúbal, Portugal, from 3-9 May 2016. It will gather 24 youth workers, youth leaders and people that works with youth from Portugal, Armenia, Italy, Georgia, Poland, Moldova, Egypt, Luxembourg, Sweden, Russia, Spain and Turkey.

The aim of the project is to promote and support the role of young people and youth NGOs in peace-building activities that contribute to living together in dignity and dialogue in conflict-affected areas and communities and beyond them. Through non-formal education methodologies, the project will give youth workers the opportunity to develop their knowledge, skills and attitudes towards peace education, conflict transformation and conflict  management, it will also provide a space for sharing good practices and resources in order to establish follow-up projects with the aim of working upon those topics.

KA1 – Youth Exchange “Changing Perspectives II”

PROJECT SUMMARY

"Changing Perspectives II" is a youth exchange co-financed by the Erasmus + Programme that will take place in Sintra from 26th March to 2nd April 2016 and with an Advance Preparatory Visit from 11th to 14th February 2016, with all leaders of the countries to prepare the youth exchange. This project will gather 25 youngsters including 5 leaders from Portugal, Denmark, Moldova, Armenia and Spain.

PROJECT SUMMARY

The training course “Open Up to Learn” is a Erasmus+ Key Action 1 - Learning Mobility of Individuals co-financed by the Erasmus + Programme, that will take place in Setúbal, Portugal, from 6-13 September 2015. It will gather 24 youth workers, youth leaders and people that works with youth from Portugal, Albania, Armenia, Denmark, Egypt, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, UK and Norway.

The aim of the project is to capacitate youth workers, youth leaders and people that works with youth with tools and resources that can be used to help youngsters to fight youth unemployment. Through non-formal education methodologies, the project intends to give the participants tools, methods and opportunities to develop competences in the areas of self-awareness, communication, entrepreneurship and healthy behaviours.

PROJECT SUMMARY

The Study Visit "Open Up to See" is a Erasmus+ Key Action 1 - Learning Mobility of Individuals co-financed by the Erasmus + Programme, that will take place in Setúbal, Portugal, from 29 June-5 July 2015. It will gather 24 youth workers, youth leaders and people that works with youth from Portugal, Albania, Armenia, Denmark, Egypt, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, UK and Norway.

The aim of the project is to explore and understand the role of youth work towards the consequences of youth unemployment in young people. Through non-formal education methodologies, the project will give youth workers the opportunity to visit innovative projects in Setúbal and Lisbon related to youth work, in the areas
of entrepreneurship and healthy behaviours; will also provide a space for sharing good practices and resources in order to establish future cooperation with the aim of working upon the consequences of youth unemployment.
